Looked grand on my screen at home and indeed on the screen in the printing shop I run these off in. Trouble was they all came of the machine a little dark.
Now Im thinking that its a screen calibration issue maybe Im just viewing with the brightness turned up to high. That said they did look grand on the pc I was using in the print shop as well. I dont as yet have a printer at home even for A4. I know that sounds strange but my old one gave up the ghost and hasnt been replaced so not sure if it was maybe just their printer
Puts me in mind of when I used to get enlargements printed from negatives by high street photo printer chains. The enlargements seldom came back looking much like the original photograph.
I dont use the photo printer shops anymore for A3 enlargements, basically its done on a colour printer which is more or less a photocopier but on nice heavyweight paper, I find these look great framed and its just a couple of quid a print.
In this case I just upped the brightness and it all sorted itself out but anyone had a similar experience or helpful observation?
